Who Leads Incepton

One point of contact. A network behind the work when the problem needs it.

Karol Przybyszewski, founder of Incepton

Karol Przybyszewski

Founder & R&D Lead

Karol founded Incepton for R&D in computer vision, NLP, IoT and AI — especially where off-the-shelf tools or earlier vendors fall short. Over 20 years he has led work from public-sector platforms and distributed telecom systems to deep-learning products and EU-funded R&D, including patent-pending work in content-based image retrieval and telemetry.

I lead Incepton and assemble specialists per project from a trusted network — vision, NLP, embedded, and more, depending on what the problem needs.

02 / Approach

How We Approach Hard Problems

The projects we take on don't usually have a textbook answer. Here's how we work them — the principles, not the marketing.

Cross-Domain Teams

Hard problems rarely sit inside one specialty. We assemble small teams that mix the right combinations — vision and signal processing, NLP and domain expertise, ML and embedded — instead of squeezing the problem into one stack.

AI-Native Development

AI is part of our daily workflow, not a feature we sell. It compresses what used to be weeks of exploration into days, and lets a small team cover the ground of a much larger one — without losing the careful engineering judgment that hard problems need.

Open Source Foundation

We build on open source — mature libraries, transparent models, and inspectable pipelines. You get something your own engineers can read, audit and keep running after we're gone, without vendor lock-in.

Simplicity Over Complexity

We believe in elegant, straightforward solutions rather than over-engineered systems. Our approach focuses on clarity, maintainability, and efficiency, ensuring that our solutions are not just powerful but also understandable and sustainable.

Unique R&D Process

We treat each project as a research and development challenge, not just an implementation. We continuously push the boundaries of technological possibilities by investing in research and experimenting with novel solutions.

Comfortable with the Unknown

We work on problems with little or no prior art. That shapes how we approach unfamiliar territory: small bets first, fast iteration, and an honest answer if something can't be done within your budget.

Manifesto

We don't ship vapor. We don't pitch six‑month roadmaps full of nothing. We don't sell AI as a buzzword.

We ship working systems — usually for problems that didn't have an obvious answer — in weeks, not quarters.

Areas We Work In

Six technical areas where we've gone deep. Most real projects sit at the intersection of two or three of them.

Computer Vision

Our image recognition systems go beyond standard classification scenarios. We specialize in detecting objects in extreme conditions, non-standard contexts, and with limited training data.

Typical Problem:

Detecting micro-cracks in composites under variable lighting and vibration — the kind of inspection where off-the-shelf vision pipelines fail due to low contrast, unpredictable angles and very limited labeled data.

Natural Language Processing & LLM

We design NLP and LLM systems for unconventional applications, niche languages, and specialized vocabulary. Our solutions work where ready-made APIs fail due to overly specific requirements.

Typical Problem:

Building a documentation-search system across multiple languages, where the corpus is full of industry jargon, in-house abbreviations and regional dialects that public LLM APIs don't index well.

Advanced Speech Recognition (ASR)

Our ASR solutions excel in challenging acoustic environments, handling multiple speakers, background noise, and domain-specific terminology. We specialize in creating custom speech recognition systems for specialized use cases.

Typical Problem:

Real-time speech recognition on a factory floor: machinery noise, overlapping speakers and a vocabulary full of part numbers and technical shorthand that generic ASR models mistranscribe.

IoT & Telemetry

We create data collection and analysis systems for environments with extreme requirements: high interference, unavailability of standard infrastructure, and extreme physical conditions.

Typical Problem:

Telemetry from a site with strong electromagnetic interference and no grid power — sensors that have to harvest their own energy, buffer locally and push data through whatever uplink is actually available.

Advanced Artificial Intelligence

We design AI systems for problems with limited data, uneven case distribution, or requiring interpretation of unusual patterns.

Typical Problem:

Predictive maintenance for a fleet of one-of-a-kind machines: each with different characteristics, sparse history, and no clean “failed” vs. “healthy” baseline to train on.

Cloud Computing & Edge Solutions

We design and implement advanced cloud solutions, particularly for cases requiring unconventional architecture, high performance, or specific security requirements. Our expertise extends to hybrid and edge computing scenarios.

Typical Problem:

A manufacturing site with patchy internet that still needs the analytics and dashboards of a cloud setup. Edge nodes do the heavy lifting locally; cloud picks up when the link is healthy.

How We Work

We only take on projects where we can move the needle. AI tooling in our daily workflow compresses the early phases — we find out together, in weeks not months, whether there's a path worth pursuing.

Challenge Analysis (3–7 days)

We read the problem, talk to your team, and decide together whether it's the kind of challenge we're a fit for. If we don't see a viable path, we tell you so — before any contract.

Exploratory Workshop (1 day)

We organize an intensive workshop with our experts, during which we define the problem boundaries and an initial solution concept.

Proof of Concept (1–3 weeks)

A working prototype against the key technical risks. The point is to find out whether the approach actually works on your data, in your conditions — not to ship polish.

Solution Development (1–3 months)

Iterating from prototype to production: integration with your systems, performance and reliability work, handling the edge cases the PoC didn't.

Handover & Knowledge Transfer

The deliverable isn't just running code — it's a system your team can read, run and extend. We pair, document, and step back when you're ready to own it.
